Client Services Coordinator
We are a technology-focused company, but this is a client service
position. Tech experience is a bonus, but it’s not required.This
position is ideal for people who have been in sales, customer service or
technical support, and understand the importance of improving the
client’s bottom line and maintaining long-term relationships.In this
position, you’ll never get bored. That’s a promise. No two days are the
same.
You will learn a LOT.
You will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining client satisfaction, retention, and referrals. You'll do this in a variety of ways (see "no two days are the same").You will get to know our clients and how they do business. You’ll identify opportunities to provide our clients with additional products and services that will improve their productivity and bottom line.

We’re an Alexandria-based IT/telephony consulting firm.
We have served clients in the DC metro area for 23 years. We focus on client satisfaction. We must provide excellent support for their existing infrastructure. We must also provide sound guidance in navigating the maze of new technologies that can enhance their efficiency, security and ultimately their bottom line.
Often, you will be dealing with people at their most frustrated. Can you address their issue and put a smile on their face by the end of the call? Note: This is not a tech support position. Experience is a bonus, but it is not required.
This is a fast-paced position that will often leave you with your head spinning. That’s okay. Determine the priorities, meet mission-critical deadlines, and flat-out tell us when we’ve given you too much to do.
Are you a good problem solver? Do you master new technologies, processes, products, etc. extremely quickly? Are you right most of the time? Can you admit when you’re not?
Do you take advantage of all available resources to resolve problems, even if you encounter something you’ve never seen before?
Can you focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture? Can you wear lots of hats, juggle lots of projects, meet deadlines, deal with difficult people, and still encounter the next one with a smile?
More specific requirements:
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel (along with other desktop publishing applications).
- If you don’t know how to create functional templates, work with raw data, etc., this isn’t the job for you.
- Comfortable living/working/breathing within a CRM database that maintains our client, service, sales, billing, marketing, and inventory info.
- If you can’t get up to speed quickly with the available training materials and some intuition, this probably isn’t the job for you.
- Always on the lookout for opportunities to improve our clients’ productivity and our ability to serve them.
- This could be by changing our internal processes, providing clients with additional products, or offering them new/different services.
- Ability to get the job done, no matter how little you knew to start with.
- You’ll need to access resources and quickly become an expert in a variety of areas.
